Water from Wine owns six acres of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes on Sandpiper Farm near Paterson, Washington. This is part of the Horse Heaven Hills American Viticulture Area (AVA), also known as the designated grape growing region.
Each Vintage, or harvest year, produces about 800 to 1,000 cases of wine. Each bottle produced from this vineyard sells for $30 and 100% of these proceeds are dedicated to funding clean water systems from wells to gravitational tanks, new water infrastructure and sanitation. for each vintage we print our own logo labels as well as special labels representing our clean water partners. When our partner labels sell we include an additional $5 - so organizations will receive $35 every time their label on our Cabernet Sauvignon is sold. We are currently featuring our 2018 vintage with partner labels, they can be found in our online shop and at our tasting rooms.
Every hear we host a volunteer harvest consisting of a morning shift and an afternoon shift. Volunteers can even request to stay at our harvest lodge! Sign up on our volunteer page for updates on harvest times.
We maintain this vineyard through the help of Row Sponsorships! Become a Sponsor and help maintain our vineyard and productuion costs so we can continue funding clean water!
