Every year we recruit people to help with our grape harvest in September/October. It’s a one-day event, with the option of either a morning or afternoon shift. For those traveling more than an hour to volunteer, we also offer free accommodation at our beautiful Cana Lodge overlooking the Columbia River on a first-come, first-reserve basis. Every volunteer gets a delicious meal at the beginning or end of their shift, and we try to make the day as fun as possible. If you’re coming from out of town and are interested in touring other wineries and tasting rooms in the area, let us know ahead of time and we can supply some resources.
Water from Wine is also always on the lookout for volunteers from different fields of expertise! If you have skills in marketing, graphic design, public relations, winemaking, agriculture, fundraising, donor relations or any related field, you are more than welcome to volunteer.
